I've always loved animals and as a child, I couldn't wait to have my very own dog. One Christmas I even taped a letter to Santa in my bedroom window asking for a puppy. I didn't receive any furry balls of joy under the tree that year - a smart move by my parents - but in 2009 on Valentine's Day my dream finally came true. On a visit to meet a local animal rescue's momma dog, my husband and I fell in love with one of her puppies and walked out of the adoption event with Bailey. I got my first DLSR camera shortly after that to capture all of her puppy moments (they grow up so fast!), and I've been taking pictures ever since.

I often volunteer my time photographing dogs in needs of homes with Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society. See who’s up for adoption!
